| The scene of frantic seconds of organised
mayhem as Crews attempt to change Tyres, fill the car with fuel and help
the drivers in and out of the car in as little time as possible. Tyre changes
can take as little as 8 seconds, fuelling can take 14 to 15 seconds and
a brake change can take a minimum of 35 seconds. In order to maintain safety,
a pain stalingly slow 60 km/h speed limit has been put in place to protect
the crews. Time and money penalties are put in place to stop drivers from
making up precious seconds in the pits. |
